This long Labour Day weekend we noticed a strong sewage smell in the area of Gibsons near the sewage facility including the proposed George neighbourhood and surrounding area.
We think that the Gibsons sewage facility should be updated before any development of the George Hotel and Residences or the Gospel Rock village on Block 7.
If the sewage facility is so obviously overwhelmed with a busy weekend, imagine what it will be like with the added population of these two developments.
